Why I’m Proud to Represent CGW Abrasives in Michigan

One of the things I enjoy most about being a manufacturer’s representative is getting behind products that bring real value to our distributors and their customers.

That’s why I’m proud that E.H. & Associates, LLC represents CGW Abrasives — Camel Grinding Wheels in Michigan.

CGW brings more than 60 years of abrasive experience and a broad range of products for cutting, grinding, sanding, blending, polishing, and finishing.

But having a great abrasive line is only the beginning.

The real value comes from putting the right product into the right application.

We Want to See the Application

When a customer tells us they’re having a grinding or abrasive problem, our first question isn’t, “What can we sell you?”

It’s: “What’s happening in the application?”

What material are you working on? What are you using today? How long does it last? What kind of finish are you trying to achieve? How much time is the operator spending on the job?

Could we cut faster? Could we get more life from the abrasive? Could we reduce changeovers?

Those questions matter because I’ve always believed that the cheapest abrasive isn’t necessarily the least expensive abrasive to use.

Cost per finished part matters.

A Great Fit for Michigan Manufacturing

I’ve spent my career around Michigan industry, and you don’t have to drive very far in this state to find somebody making something.

Automotive suppliers. Machine shops. Fabricators. Tool and die companies. Maintenance operations. Precision grinding.

All of those facilities have applications where something is being cut, ground, sanded, deburred, blended, or finished.

That’s why CGW is such a natural fit for the market E.H. serves.

And E.H. has a team in the field ready to support it.

Barry Karlson and Brandon Linhart work alongside me developing relationships, supporting our distributors, and helping identify opportunities with Michigan end users.

Distributors — Put Our Team to Work

Our distributor partners are a critical part of our business.

You have the customer relationships. Our job is to bring additional CGW product and application expertise to help you win the business.

Have an abrasive application you’re not sure about? Bring us in.

Have a competitive opportunity? Let’s test it.

Want CGW training for your sales team? Let’s schedule it.

Need someone to go with you to see an application? Barry, Brandon, or I will be there.

That’s What Representation Means to Me

CGW brings the abrasive manufacturing expertise. Our distributors bring the customer relationships. E.H. brings local representation and application support.

CGW → E.H. → Distributor → End User

If you have a cutting, grinding, sanding, deburring, or finishing application that could be better, put our team to work.

We can’t promise CGW will be the answer to every application.

But we can promise we’ll take the time to understand the application and see if we can help.

That’s how I believe industrial sales should be done.
